Building on the strengths of the SR7007, the new Marantz SR7008 AV Receiver extends the number of channels from seven to nine and is supported by Audyssey DSX and DTS Neo:X 9.1 - flooding you with an improved experience in surround sound.
Audyssey MultEQ XT32 and support for Pro calibration with the Audyssey Pro Kit ensures that you can achieve a more accurate calibration and guarantee that every seat in the room is a 'sweet spot' for audio. The Marantz SR7008 AV Receiver also includes the latest Audyssey feature, LFC (Low Frequency Containment), which reduces the transmission of low frequency sound through walls while retaining tonal balance and the perception of bass within the listening environment.
The Marantz SR7008 AV Receiver supports Apple lossless, Gapless, FLAC 24/192 so you get all the metadata you want, as well as music services such as Spotify and last.fm and AirPlay audio streaming. Video signals are treated with extra loving care via advanced video processing, with 6+1 HDMI inputs and 3 outputs (2x Main + 1x Zone 2) which all support 3D or 4k pass-through and 4k up-scaling. The front digital connectivity (HDMI & USB) makes it particularly friendly for mobile, tablet, iPad/iPhone, camera & camcorder.

What's more, the stylish aluminium front panel with illuminated porthole display is still there and an additional two-line display which is neatly hidden away behind a fold-down flap along with the front connections and most of the front panel controls. The Marantz SR7008 AV Receiver can also be controlled with the specially developed Marantz Remote App for iPhone and Android devices.
