Components

The NA6006 Network Audio Player uses high quality components such as an ESS9016 Sabre DAC to process the digital signals the network player receives. Dual crystal clocks provide accurate handling and timing, along with Marantz Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Modules analogue circuitry to create a wide dynamic range and low distortion. The Marantz HDAM technology features in many high end products up to the Reference Series players. The NA6006 incorporates Marantz Musical Digital Filtering, DSP technology that allows you to select from two digital filter processes to tailor the sound to your preference. Each algorithm changes the details with subtle precision, transforming media files for high resolution playback.

Connectivity

With in-built Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, the NA6006 can connect to a range of music streaming services, so you can always find your favourite tracks. Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, TIDAL and Deezer are all supported, along with many more options. Playback through Apple AirPlay 2 is also included for an easy and direct connection from iOS devices, and with the advanced dual antenna transceiver system, with dual band 2.4GHz/5GHz support for improved network stability, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity is ensured for flawless playback. With a front panel USB port, you can listen to your stored library through the NA6006 supporting all major audio file types with PCM conversion and DSD 2.8 and 5.6MHz.

HEOS Multi-Room

The NA6006 comes in-built with the HEOS multi-room system, so you can stream music throughout the whole house. Wirelessly connect additional HEOS speakers to enjoy whole-home audio, all easily controlled through the HEOS app. Play the same song across the house, or play different songs in different rooms, the choice is yours. And with Amazon Alexa voice assistant, control just became even easier. Play, pause, skip tracks and change sources, just by asking. Download the HEOS home entertainment skill to enable Amazon Alexa to control the Marantz NA6006.

Extra Features

The output offers two options, a fixed output and a variable output, allowing you to connect active speakers directly or a power amplifier for digital source player use. A dedicated headphone output features three selections for gain factor to drive high or low impedance headphones. Using the optical digital input, the NA6006 can be used as a standalone DAC for any digital audio source such as a digital disc player. The USB port doubles as a charging port for any smartphone or tablet, even when the network player is in standby. The NA6006 automatically enters low power standby once the device is fully charged. Supplied with an ergonomic remote, the network player is also fully controllable through the HEOS app, or with Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
