With 13.2 channel processing, 15.2 channel XLR and RCA outputs, and flexible amplifier stages, enjoy your movies with a system you deserve. Dolby Atmos produces multi-dimensional audio with 7.2.6 or 9.2.4 channel configuration, with Atmos elevation speakers, or use Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization Technology for immersive audio without height speakers, for virtual effects in 7.2, 5.2 or 2.2 channels. DTS:X places sound naturally where it occurs in space, for lifelike audio in your home cinema, and with IMAX Enhanced technology and Auro-3D, you'll never be far from a true home cinema experience. Featuring Marantz Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module technology and current feedback topology, the AV8805A creates a musical sound for optimum sound quality.

With an advanced HDMI video section, the AV8805A is capable of 8K/60Hz pass-through, as well as 4K/120Hz, meaning this AV amplifier is ready for the future as well as being the best of now. With all the latest HDMI specifications, the Marantz AV8805A features 8 HDMI inputs and 3 outputs, supporting 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision and HDR10, in addition to eARC and HDCP 2.3 processing for seamless compatibility with any UHD TV, Blu-ray players and games consoles. Enjoy 8K upscaling on all HDMI inputs.
Wireless Music
The AV8805A offers many facilities for wireless options. Stream your music via Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 or over Wi-Fi from your smartphone or tablet for easy music listening, straight from your favourite music streaming service such as Spotify or Amazon Music. With built-in HEOS technology, the AV8805A can also connect wirelessly to additional HEOS-enabled speakers, allowing you to play your music throughout the whole house, or play different music in every room. Everything is controllable through the simple HEOS app.

A phono input is included to directly connect your turntable, allowing you to enjoy your vinyl collection with high quality sound.
