Following the success of KEF's internationally respected XQ Series, which won the coveted home theatre loudspeaker EISA award last year; we are pleased to present the new KEF XQAV50 5.1 speaker pack. Feedback and research has KEF shown that many people are looking for dedicated AV packages with each speaker carefully matched to complement various room sizes. When purchased as an AV pack, XQ Series customers can make significant savings compared to buying the speakers separately.

Heading up the front of the KEF XQAV50 5.1 speaker pack are the KEF XQ40 floorstanding speakers. The KEF XQ40 floorstanding speakers use the pairing of an ultra-low distortion bass driver with the latest incarnation of KEF's signature Uni-Q 'point source' array for the middle and upper frequencies, disperses a compellingly rich three-dimensional sound field evenly throughout the listening area. The KEF XQ40 floorstanding speakers uses the same crossover technology developed from the KEF Reference Series assures excellent power handling, along with exceptionally fluid transitions

To perfectly match the KEF XQAV50 front speakers is the KEF XQ50c centre speaker, which provides the KEF XQAV50 5.1 speaker package with vocals that are clear and precisely located whatever the volume. Lower frequency effects are equally involving and delivered with real clout. So, as well as the radically innovative design, high end components and advanced engineering; you'll find yourself immersed in an intricate three-dimensional soundscape.

The rear section of the KEF XQAV50 speaker package is provided from the KEF XQ30 floorstanding speakers. The KEF XQAV50's low frequency section is provided by KEF's high performance XA60b subwoofer. The attractive curved cabinet and hand finished rich gloss black lacquer finish of the KEF XQ60b is an elegant covering that beautifully wraps a subwoofer that is all about performance. The combination of a massive 300mm die-cast long-throw LF driver driven by a powerful 200W RMS Class-D amplifier delivers high output and deep, tight, tuneful bass that is as sure to cleanly reproduce the thunderous effects of the latest James Bond movie, as it is to provide the subtle LF support and detail of a Mahler symphony.
