The new KEF AV50 speaker package combines the brilliant IQ50 floorstanding speakers along with the IQ60c centre speaker, the smaller IQ10 and the powerful high performance KEF KUBE 2 active subwoofer to provide a full, fast and exciting 5.1 speaker package
Heading up the front of the KEF AV50 speaker package are the KEF IQ50 floorstanding speakers, based on the award winning IQ5se. The KEF IQ50 are a compact yet powerful floorstander, they share the exceptionally wide, even dispersion that characterises the range, together with KEF's legendary build quality. The 19mm (0.75in.) tweeter, identical to the larger models, is built into the 130mm (5.25in.) version of KEF's latest Uni-Q® high frequency/midrange array.
To perfectly match the KEF AV50 floorstanding front speakers is the KEF IQ60c centre speaker, which provides the KEF AV50 speaker package with vocals that are clear and precisely located whatever the volume. Lower frequency effects are equally involving and delivered with real clout. So, as well as the radically innovative design, high end components and advanced engineering; you'll find yourself immersed in an intricate three-dimensional soundscape.
The rear section of the KEF AV50 speaker package is provided from the KEF iQ10 bookshelf speakers. The KEF AV50 rear speakers prove that size isn't everything, the sensational130mm (5.25in.) Uni-Q coincident driver array in a reflex-ported cabinet, the calibre of its acoustic performance is out of all proportion to its modest dimensions. Transitions between the natural-sounding high frequencies refreshingly open midrange and hefty extended bass are impeccably fluent. As satellite speakers in a 5.1 system, they're beguilingly descriptive and realistic, creating an engrossingly intricate three-dimensional soundscape that adds real depth to the viewing experience
