Pro-Ject is releasing a George Harrison Limited Edition Record Player Celebrating what would have been his 74th birthday. Along with that they are also releasing a vinyl box set of his albums and an extended version of his book. George Harrison was the lead guitarist of The Beatles as well as a singer-songwriter on a lot of their most memorable tracks. While the Turntable looks stunning it has a range of fantastic features;

• Custom-designed MDF plinth with artwork by Shepard Fairey.
• Included Acrylic platter shows studio mixing desk image printed onto the plinth.
• High-quality aluminium tonearm.
• Factory-fitted Ortofon OM 10 moving magnet cartridge.
• Low-noise 9V motor with built-in AC generator.
• Supplied with sturdy dust cover.
• Hi-fi quality performance from a world-leading analogue audio company.

The turntable itself is based on the Pro-Ject Essential III design with an Acryl-IT E platter. It’s also equip with a high-quality tonearm and Ortofon OM 10 cartridge.

Released to commemorate George Harrison’s birthday (February 25th), the whole vinyl box set has been pressed onto high-quality 180g heavyweight vinyl with re-masters taken from the original analogue master tapes and newly cut at the legendary Capitol studios.
