-Dual MTR75 USB Turntable

The Dual MTR75 USB Turntable features a belt drive with an aluminium plate, DC Servomotor, Auto-Start and Auto-Stop/Lift function, as well as a straight tonearm with adjustable counterweight, and a Magnetic Cartridge System from Audio Technica. The MTR75 is one of the bigger units available in Dual's new range of budget/mid-priced turntables, offering fully automatic operation and plenty of fantastic features such as a built-in phono stage and USB type B output.

The Dual MTR75 USB Turntable is fully automatic in its operation, meaning all you need to do is press the start button on the turntable and the tonearm will lift, position, and lower itself onto your record, without the need for you to touch it; meaning placement will be smooth and precise. The tonearm will also lift and return itself to the tonearm rest once it reached the end of the vinyl's groove. Pressing the stop button any time throughout playback will automatically lift the tonearm and replace it to rest. This function is particularly helpful to those who worry about scratching their records through manual needle placement.

A built-in moving magnet phono stage allows you to plug this turntable directly into a pair of powered speakers, and a pair of switchable line level outputs is available to those who prefer to use an external phono stage or a phono stage built into an amplifier. Speed selection can be achieved through the buttons provided, allowing you to choose between 33.3 rpm and 45 rpm, to play 7" and 12" records respectively. To add that little touch of personalisation, the MTR75's pitch control is adjustable +/- 10%, allowing you to tailor to personal specification preferences.

A USB Type B output is included, allowing you to record you vinyl records and rip them to a digital audio file stored straight on your USB memory stick. This function will allow you to enjoy your entire vinyl record collection not only through the Dual MTR75, but on the go as well.

The Dual MTR75 features a straight tonearm with an adjustable counterweight. At the end of this tonearm can be found the Audio Technica AT3600, a cartridge that includes a conical stylus placed within a removable bayonet headshell. Dual recommends setting the counterweight between 3-3.5g for the best result from the cartridge. When it comes to setup and installation, some degree of assembly is required when first taking the MTR75 out of the box, but everything from the belt drive to the headshell screws comes included, along with simple to follow instructions.
