The Denon AVR-X2400W AV Receiver will bring the next generation of home cinema surround sound to your home thanks to the inclusion of Dolby Atmos surround decoding, providing dramatic surround sound throughout your living room. This surround sound can be further enhanced through overhead speakers that provide pinpoint sound imaging, bringing the cinema experience home.
Not only does this unit provide stunning sound, but it is also ready for the future of video. With 8 HDMI inputs available to you (including one on the front panel for convenience) and 3 HDMI outputs, the AVR-X2400W is equipped with 4K Ultra-HD 60 Hz video pass-through and upscaling. Pure colour 4:4:4 colour sub-sampling, a feature of the latest HDMI specification, is also supported, as well as ISFccc advanced video calibration controls.
Built in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and AirPlay , and DLNA will allow you to stream your music wirelessly through the AVR-X2400W. The Bluetooth function features automatic power on, as well as pairing. Up to eight Bluetooth devices can be remembered, allowing for easier and much faster connection to devices. Dual antennae are included, delivering a much smoother and stronger Wi-Fi and Bluetooth transmission and providing improved reception coverage as compared to a device with only one single antenna. Apple AirPlay will let you stream content from your iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone, and DLNA will let you access content from your PC or Mac via the home network. Internet radio is also included, offering thousands of radio stations for you to enjoy. Subscription music services such as Pandora, SiriusXM and Spotify Connect are also open to you.
The audio section of the Denon AVR-X2400W has been packed full of the latest advanced technology. This unit comes fitted with the highest resolution audio decoders, including Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, as well as DTS Neo:X advanced multi-channel decoding and Dolby Pro Logic IIz.
The unit also comes with Audyssey's Platinum suite of advanced DSP audio algorithms, which include the MultiEQ XT32 automatic room acoustic measurement and correction system. This provides superior digital correction compared to standard MultEQ and MultEQ XT, with the ability to measure up to eight different locations within the room. Audyssey Dynamic EQ and Audyssey Dynamic Volume are also included, along with Dynamic Surround Expansion for the ultimate experience in home cinema audio. Audyssey Pro Installer is also compatible, delivering superior in-room acoustic measurement and correction capabilities with up to thirty-two measurement points. Audyssey Dynamic Volume will smooth out any annoying jumps in volume, which can be found, for example, when a TV advert cuts in, letting you listen at low levels, whilst still enjoying clear dialogue, music and sound effects.
The AVR-X2400W comes equipped with a range of features that will provide enhanced control capabilities and compatibility with third-party and custom integration solutions. Featuring IR (Infrared) remote control input and output ports on the rear panel, as well as the ability to be controlled via a computer operating on the home network via IP control (via either a wired LAN connection or a Wi-Fi wireless connection), this unit offers many convenient control options. In addition to the more conventional ways to control this AV receiver, the AVR-X2400W also comes with a free, downloadable control app. The Denon Remote App has been made specifically for tablet devices. Available for the iPad, Android tablets and the Kindle Fire. The app can be found free of charge in their respective app stores.
A USB port, conveniently placed on the front panel, will allow you to stream music from your iPod, iPad or iPhone, charging the device at the same time. The USB can also be used to stream tracks directly from a USB stick or NAS, and the inclusion of DSD (2.8 MHz) and wideband PCM (including lossless FLAC or PCM file types, up to 24 bit/192 kHz) decoding for the ultimate high resolution music experience.
