The AVR-X1500H features discrete high-current amplifiers on all channels, delivering 80 watts to each channel with low impedance drivers to provide stability for great balanced, tonal sound on a wide variety of speakers. The AV receiver supports three dimensional sound formats from Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X, and with 4K scaling for HDMI sources, provides a truly immersive movie experience. Supporting 7.1 surround sound, the AVR-X1500H offers two extra channels than standard 5.1, allowing you to place overhead speakers, or Dolby Atmos elevation speakers for all-around sound that places you right in the middle.

The six HDMI inputs, and the HDMI output, have HDCP 2.2 support, with 4K Ultra 60Hz video, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, Dolby Vision HLG and 21:9 video. For further connectivity, the AVR-X1500H is Bluetooth enabled, allowing you to stream music directly from smartphone or tablet via your favourite music streaming service app, including Spotify, Apple AirPlay and Deezer.

With the downloadable HEOS Home Entertainment Skill app comes Amazon Alexa, giving you complete voice control over the AVR-X1500H. Adjust the volume, skip tracks or switch inputs all by just asking. The Alexa voice assistant makes controlling the AV receiver simple and easy. Also control the Denon AV receiver with the Denon AVR remote app for Android and iOS to control volume, pause and play, or change sources all from your smartphone.

Certified High Resolution audio means the AVR-X1500H has the ability to decode lossless files such as WAV and FLAC up to 24bit/196kHz resolution as well as DSD 2.8MHZ. The AV receiver also benefits from a phono input, allowing you to connect your turntable to listen to your vinyl records in high quality. With dual subwoofer outputs, the bass frequencies have better dispersion for smooth and accurate low end, providing a powerful, room-filling sound.

The Denon AVR-X1500H contains HEOS Multi-room technology, letting you wirelessly connect multiple speakers onto one system to play music simultaneously throughout your house. You can play the same sound across the whole system, or choose to play different music through each connected speaker, and control it all through Alexa or the HEOS app, for a modern tech home.

To make the most of your home surround sound system, the AVR-X1500H comes with Audyssey MultEQ XT to optimise your speakers using the supplied measurement microphone, allowing to it analyse the sound and adjust the speaker frequencies for your greatest listening enjoyment.

The Denon AVR-X1500H can be connected to your smart TV remote via the HDMI CEC function, to allow you easy access to the AV receiver, without swapping remotes. There are also four quick select buttons on the front panel to store your preferred settings for each source, between TV, Blu-ray, consoles, depending on what you need the most.
