-Definitive Technology Demand 9 Speakers Black (Pair) (Open Box)

Featuring a 1 inch aluminium dome tweeter with Definitive Technology’s new 20/20 Wave Alignment Lens, the Demand 9 speakers provide a smooth high frequency response and better sound dispersion for a satisfying listening experience. The tweeter has been offset by 5° for a more precise centre stereo image by reducing symmetric diffraction from the front baffle corners. The annealed aluminium tweeters have been precision engineered to bring out every nuance and detail in the higher frequencies, creating and clear and crisp top end to the speakers.

Further improving the sound dispersion throughout the room, the Patented Linear Response Waveguide extends on and off axis frequency response, and creates a more natural mid-range timbre and precise imaging, allowing you to hear an accurate soundstage equally, wherever you are in the room.

The midrange woofer contains Balanced Double Surround System patented technology to give the speaker greater excursion and output, resulting in superior midrange detail and punchy, dynamic bass when compared to other midrange drivers of a similar size. For impressive low end extension, each speaker contains an integrated passive bass radiator, and with the addition of a larger spider to increase stability, helps to provide a tight and clean bass response.

The Demand 9 bookshelf speakers come with an acoustically transparent grille, magnetically attached to the front, providing a natural and uncoloured sound if in use, or can be easily removed to see the speakers uncovered. Each speaker is meticulously hand crafted and painted in a high gloss, near-mirror finish, designed to suit any style home décor.
