The BP9040 Bipolar Tower Speakers from Definitive Technology incorporates a plethora of innovative technologies in order to take your music listening experience to new heights of clarity and richness. This Dolby Atmos / DTS:X compatible unit features an intelligent bass control mechanism and dual bass radiators. Its small drivers are backed by Balanced Double Surround System (BDSS) technology to provide high performance, delivering an output equivalent to the bass quality of a larger driver. However, there is no compromise on sound dispersion and midrange definition.
The BP9040 Bipolar Tower comes equipped with a built-in 8” powerful subwoofer to ensure a listening experience like no other. Thanks to the patented Forward-Focused Bipolar Array (FFBP) technology, these floor standing speakers will deliver each and every note with absolute precision, offering a totally immersive music listening or movie watching experience. The unit has been provided with aluminium dome tweeters that work to generate a powerful yet deep, high frequency sound, so that you feel as if the artists are performing in the comfort of your own home.
Definitive Technology has provided an LED backlit logo at the bottom front panel of BP9040. This logo serves a dual purpose. Firstly, it highlights the integrated subwoofer. Secondly, and more importantly, the LED lets you know if the speaker is receiving a signal. If the speakers do not receive any signal for more than 20 minutes, the light indicator automatically turns itself off or goes to standby mode. Operation can also be achieved manually.
The BP9040 Bipolar Tower Speaker comes encased in a totally inert cabinet. This strong and resonance-resistant housing has been constructed from premium aluminium. The unit comes to you in elegant black finish with an attractively designed non-removable transparent grille. The speaker achieves perfect stability thanks to a wide base created from aircraft grade aluminium. Included spikes and floor guides make sure that your BP9040 speakers stay safely positioned on a carpet as well as solid floor surfaces.
