German-based Canton have released a new DM50 ‘soundbase’, designed to improve the quality of poor sound provided by modern television sets. The Canton DM50 uses six drive units and 200 watts of digital amplification to provide clear audio from your TV, Bluray player, games consoles and other source components.

The brand new Canton DM 50 Soundbase is intended to be positioned under a TV’s pedestal stand, or discreetly on a shelf below a wall-mounted flat screen. An array of front firing drive units create a convincing, room filling surround sound without the need to install rear speakers.

2.1 Surround Sound

The Canton DM 50 Soundbase has two playback modes to choose from. Stereo for music playback and “surround” for dynamic, room filling home cinema.

Wireless Music

The Canton DM 50 Soundbase can play music from any Smartphone, tablet or laptop via an aptX Bluetooth connection.

Advanced Design
