Noise Masking Technology

If you’re always kept awake at night by constant noise; traffic, voices on the street or your partner’s snoring, then the Noise-Masking Sleepbuds can help block the disturbing sound, using Bose’s new solution of noise masking, based on how different frequencies combine in the ear. If the different sounds have the right match of frequencies, combined with the slightly louder masking sound, the ear and brain won’t detect the disturbance, leaving you sleeping peacefully.

The Sleepbuds can’t stream music or sounds other than the installed ones, but this is part of the technology of noise masking. With a small operating battery, the Sleepbuds are optimised for comfort and will easily last a whole night on a single charge.

Comfortable Sleep

For maximum comfort whilst sleeping, the Sleepbuds come with three different sizes of StayHear+ sleep tips in small, medium and large, all with a pliable fin that fits in the upper ridge of your ear. This means the Sleepbuds will remain safely in your ear while you sleep, as well as being comfortable no matter what position you sleep in.

With the Sleepbuds, a case is included that works as both a storage case and a charger for the Sleepbuds when they’re not in use. The charging case keeps the earbuds in place with a magnetised function, and when unplugged carries an extra full charge for when you’re on the move. The Sleepbuds will provide up to 16 hours of use from one single charge of the rechargeable silver-zinc micro batteries.

Soothing Sounds

The Bose Noise-Masking Sleepbuds contain 10 different pre-loaded relaxing sounds, from crashing waves, rustling leaves and a crackling campfire, to help you unwind and fall asleep. The sounds have been designed and selected to deliver the most effective noise-masking experience. More soothing sounds will be available in future software updates.

Bose Sleep App

The Bose Sleep App, designed to work with the Noise-Masking Sleepbuds, makes it easy to set up and customise your preferences for sleep. After downloading the app, simply choose a soothing sound, set the volume level and the duration you want to use the Sleepbuds. With the app, you can also set a personal wake up alarm that only you can hear, so you can wake up when you need to, without disturbing the person next to you.
