It’s all a part of a mission to get the nation to enjoy the album from beginning to end, without hitting the skip button.

Programmes across the BBC to celebrate National Album Day include Elbow looking forward to the release of their new album Giants Of All Sizes with a session for Shaun Keaveny on 6 Music, a special ‘Pick of the Pops’ on Radio 2 counting down the best selling albums of the millennium so far, and on Radio 1 Annie Mac talks to artists about the albums that changed their lives, beginning with Jorja Smith.
