Elegant, slim lines shape a soft curve on the front baffle. The thin cloth grill cover, secured in place by small hidden magnets, underlines the silhouette. The real wood veneer is meticulously polished by hand to yield a silky smooth finish, an elegant contrast to the solid aluminum and metal elements so essential to the advanced technology of the loudspeakers. |
| To allow for the S 1.4 to achieve its highest potential, the optional Stand4 is recommended. It is available in either a Silver or Black finish, and can be attached directly to the base of the S 1.4 with no top plate required, creating a perfectly integrated unit, one that is ideal both sonically as well as aesthetically. Adhering to the essence of the Contour philosophy, the highly thought-through outer cabinet construction in mirrored in the internal design. |

| An innovative cabinet design in concert with advanced Dynaudio driver technology serves as the foundation for the high-performance Contour line. The honest design of each Contour model is comprised of the finest materials and hand-crafted to the highest degree, leading to a level of sound quality that brings to life the essential nature of sound, pure and true. The refined sound quality of the Contour models is born from the sound engineering that went into their development. Aside from the aesthetic merits, there is a technical purpose to each and every detail implemented into the construction. The ultra-rigid, slim-line cabinet is further strengthened by a solid metal baffle, connected to the enclosure itself by a layer of resonance damping material. The advanced Dynaudio drivers are afforded a perfect environment, free of any resonance or coloration, in which to perform at their highest possible levels. In Dynaudio's tradition of Danish craftsmanship, each Contour model receives a furniture grade finish with a choice of maple, cherry, black ash or rosewood veneer standard.
