Beastie Boy Adam Youch had died at the age of 47. He was being treated for cancer which he was diagnosed with in 2009.

Say what you want, but they have worked with some serious players in the industry and most definitely fought for their right to PARTAY!!

There are so many crap people that could have died instead, like Simon-what-the-fuck-ever-Cowell for a major example.

They've done such varied stuff too - they weren't just shouty teenagers. I urge everyone to try The In Sound From Way out, an album that shows they weren't just one trick ponies.

That's what I'm saying. Just check out their Wikipedia page for the full list of connections, it's pretty immense. I knew some of them, but had no idea of the true depths of their talent.
