Overheard two whippersnappers in the pub talking about Blades:

'KEF said they made a speaker, money no object - and they come up with a £20k pair?'

(for those who don't get that, the 'money no object pair was the Concept Blade, which had no official price, but rumoured to be in excess of £100k - the £20k pair is a result of the 'money no object pair)

Brilliant stuff on the "Anti-Dealer" Forum last night.....

"Had an interesting phone call with a dealer on the What hifi top 20 retailers list today and asked him if he stocked Kef?

His reply was quite interesting as he said "we don't bother with Kef since they sold out to the far east as everything they make is rubbish and B&W are miles better in every way"

Any thoughts on this ???

I dislike it when some one bad mouths something they don't sell. I find it hard to trust them on what they are selling.

I love the post about why manufacturers make speakers that go above human hearing range, I don't understand all of the physics of it but I know a little which is enough to know not to get involved in a conversation with people that blatantly know nothing i.e. he cant hear the difference between CD and MP3 so there must be no difference :roll:
