I have had the TA2020 for a little while now, and with the ATC's i actually prefer the 8w T-Amp to the 55w Sony. Its a lot more open than the Sony (with the SCM10's anyway).

Well the ATC's are sold, the Keesonics are staying Just amp to get sorted now, just bought one of these-  So will need a power amp.... Not sure what yet!

Yeah they were very impressive, not sure I could justify the cost even if i have the money, and would probably use different amplification to suit my tastes I wonder what they would be like with a solid concrete floor, solid walls etc

It's just so much more solid, with more presence. When we installed the Snow White pair, it was a room not too dissimilar to where the Blades were last night, with a solid floor and quite bare, solid walls too. They sounded so good, that anybody who's umming and arring about going for a pair would just buy them straight away if they heard them in that type of room.

£130 for the TT from another forum, £45 for the cart, lightly used of eBay. Trying to keep the whole system under £500 as a challenge! I think I am at £460ish so far for the following- Philips CD850 -£50 Luxman PD-272 -£130 Sure M97xE -£45 Rotel RQ-970BX -£35 Firestone Audio Tube Head -£50 Cambridge Audio P500 -£50Keesonic Kolt -£75 Target R1 -£31 Got to love budget kit!
