Daybreakers out now on Bluray

A futuristic vampire movie? Is this a first?

Ethan Hawke, Sam Neill, Willem Dafoe, and Mungo McKay star in this ‘vampire movie with a difference’ by the Spierig brothers, who wrote and directed the low budget Aussie ‘zombie’ fun flick, Undead, in which Mungo McKay also starred, playing a very R.J. MacReady (Kurt Russell, The Thing) type of character.

Out now on Bluray.

Book Of Eli out now on Bluray

Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, and Mila Kunis – what more could you want?!!

We like post apocalyptic movies, but not many of them are well executed. Or any good. We have high hopes for this one.

Out now on Bluray.

The Outlaw

First time director, so not sure how good this will be, but I like Korean films.

The Horde

Unfortunately no sleeve pics yet, so this is as good a pic as you get! I’ll update the post when sleeve art and a better trailer without the crap intro is released. After French films like Switchblade Romance, this take on the zombie genre has to be better than Romero’s recent efforts…..watch the trailer and see what you think?

Pontypool

It may sound like a seaside resort in Wales, but the trailer looks promising.

9 on Bluray

Seen this at the cinema on release. The audio was quite impressive even though it was a smaller screen with an average audio system – I’m hoping the HD audio track of the Bluray, released next month, is going to do it justice and make it demo material!

Great film, quite dark (which I always enjoy), and quite different to anything else, even though there’s overtones of certain movies to it….
