Welcome!!

Welcome to our new look website for Frank Harvey Hi-Fi.
I’ve managed to comandeer our old website which was gathering dust since starting our HiFix website. We thought seeing as we have the site, we may as well make use of it to provide you with a web page where you can visit to find out more about us and be informed of new models, events, special offers, and other hugely interesting ’stuff”.
The Home page will keep you informed of new products as well as new models available for demo in store, news of useful events and shows, and general fun stuff.
In the About Us section you’ll find details and history as well as photos of Frank Harvey Hi-Fi and our Coventry showroom.
In the HiFix.co.uk tab you’ll find more detail about our website, which will be added to over the coming weeks.
The On Demo section gives you a full listing of manufacturers and products we have available for demo in our three storey showroom, along with a few photos.
You’ll find links to various worldwide film trailers that we find interesting, new Bluray releases, and various styles of music that we think are interesting or different, and want to share with you.
Please feel free to make any suggestions of what you’d like to see on this page, and any improvements you’d like to see.
We’re also contemplating extending this site further, which will be quite exciting if it happens - stay tuned for up to date news!! (which will also be posted on our Facebook page)
The Thaw

Isolation - stories like the Blair Witch Project, Open Water, The Thing etc rely on this as part of the horror. Looking promising…..
The Horde
Unfortunately no sleeve pics yet, so this is as good a pic as you get! I’ll update the post when sleeve art and a better trailer without the crap intro is released. After French films like Switchblade Romance, this take on the zombie genre has to be better than Romero’s recent efforts…..watch the trailer and see what you think?
Warp Technique
Came across a track on Radio Schitzoid last night, which was from their album Make Animals Happy. Apparently classed as ‘techno dub’. You can sample tracks from the cdbaby site

Denon’s new Universal BDP4010 Bluray player is now on demo in store.
There’s more to the Profile 2.0 4010 than the serious looking facia - it isn’t just a Bluray player. As well as playing Bluray and DVD discs, it will also play DVD-Audio and SACD discs too, with onboard 7.1 decoding and full bass management powered by Denon’s dual 32bit SHARC processors. Anchor Bay’s VRS video procing is also present.
Now for the cool bit. As a a world’s first, the BDP4010 features an integral web browser and remote access capabilities – alowing it to be controlled via an iPhone or iPod Touch.
Hi-Fi Racks Ltd
We’re now agents for Hi-Fi Racks Ltd, who produce the wonderfully chunky and serious looking wooden racks as seen above, which we have on display in store. There are also different sizes, including some to suit Cyrus equipment. If you’re sick of shiny metal tubes and glass, check them out.

Onkyo BDPS807 THX Bluray Player

Onkyo are about to launch a new, high specification profile 2.0 Bluray player, which is shaping up to be a strong contender in the sub £1,000 price point. Boasting their usual battleship build quality, the player sports a simple, uncluttered facia, but still managing to look pretty serious.
Black Stone Cherry
Fancy a bit of rock? Give these guys a try – great album.
