The Chord Optichord features a high quality fibre optic cable, fitted with a black metal bodied plug and gold plated tip. The end of the cable has been domed and polished, which results in a wider bandwidth transmission. In addition, special attention to the termination process has effectively eliminated Scattering, Micro-bend & Insertion loss, whilst it should also be noted that Optichord's 6mm external diameter makes it particularly resistant to crushing and cracking.
