These compact domestic subwoofers draw on Tannoy's extensive professional and stadium loudspeaker design experience to deliver class-leading low frequency drama and thunderous bass effects. Designed to excel in speed and power, each model uses a powerful digital amplifier and two large, long-throw drivers to output extremely fast and deep bass. The design allows considerable LFE output from a compact cabinet, making the Tannoy TS2 range ideal for a wide range of home cinema systems. |
| The Tannoy TS2.10 double driver configuration dramatically increases cone surface area and reduces cabinet vibration. The twin 10" drivers offer a similar cone surface area to a subwoofer with a single 15" driver, yet the Tannoy TS2.10 remains no physically larger than a typical 10" subwoofer. This elegant solution ensures the TS2 subwoofers are compact enough for easy placement yet pack a punch much larger than their physical size. Each high-excursion driver uses a light yet stiff multi-fibre cone with butyl rubber roll surround to deliver lightening bass speed and low frequency depth. |
| Equipped with potent 300 Watt RMS class D bridge mode amplifier, the Tannoy TS2.10 subwoofer is bristling with power and technology. A Tri-State Pulse Width Modulated Digital Signal Processor is used to adjust crossover frequency, phase and gain control in the digital domain, and eliminating analogue filter circuitry from the signal path. The Tannoy TS2.10 delivers ultrafast bass and potent Low Frequency Effects right down to a class-leading 22 Hz. |
| The Tannoy TS2.10 cabinet is built from heavyweight 25 mm MDF throughout, substantially reducing cabinet colouration and adding valuable extra mass for stabilisation. Tannoy's polymer cone feet are deployed on the Tannoy TS2.10, offering the greatest stability across a wide range of floor surfaces from hard laminates to carpet. Each cabinet is meticulously hand-finished in discreet satin vinyl or high-gloss paint in bright white or piano black. The hard-wearing paint is hand polished to a mirror finish. A pair of full-width removable grilles is supplied for those wanting to keep the TS2.10's impressive twin drivers concealed. |
