Eight HDMI® inputs handle 3D content, HD audio and video display up scaled to 4K with on-board Qdeo™ technology. | The Onkyo TX-NR 616 AV Receiver incorporates surround-sound technologies from Audyssey and Dolby to offer greater flexibility in the setup of your home cinema. Audyssey DSX can expand 5.1-channel audio soundtracks to incorporate additional Wide or Height channels, while the Dolby system adds two extra Height channels. A 7.2-channel set-up provides a more detailed, realistic, and three-dimensional soundtrack, with the extra channels carrying subtle directional and ambient effects. Furthermore, Dolby Pro Logic IIz can expand stereo sources for music and TV programs in surround sound. |
